CrossFit Advanced

A fitness/performance based training method which incorporates weightlifting, gymnastics and metabolic conditioning (run, row, jump rope, etc.) in each competitive workout. A mandatory skills class is necessary before joining in.

Sports Performance Training

Youth Athletic Development Program

We’ve Developed A System To Help Youth Realize Their Athletic Potential and it’s not your usual Sports Performance Training System.  We do this by focusing on training the body to move the way it is meant to.  We increase one’s level of athleticism by designing routines centered on the concept of constantly varied exercise sequences-the body is then forced to adapt.  Our athletes are functionally strong, fast, flexible, and at the top of the food chain when it comes to athletic competence.  Our method of athletic development applies to ALL sports programs whether explosive or endurance based, whether contested on a court, a field, a mat or in the pool.

How We Do It: Focus, Strength, Mobility, Commitment, Fundamentals

We focus on eliminating unnecessary volume of training while increasing intensity.  Our programming is structured, sport-specific and seamlessly integrated with Olympic lifts, power-lifting, gymnastics movements, explosive activity and mobility-based support.

With a goal of maximizing an individual’s athletic potential, our program is not easy.  However we believe the journey is part of making the results more rewarding.  Our commitment is to coach, inspire, lead and educate with care, sincerity and a relentless motivation to get results.

Women’s Group Training

Are you getting the most out of your workouts? Do you know what exercises to do on which days to maximize results? Learn the benefits of resistance training, burn calories and tone your body while working with a trainer in small groups………..and no, you won’t bulk up.

Schedule: Tuesday-5pm Thursday- 5pm


Triathlon & Run Training

Do your first or best triathlon, 5k or marathon while following a detailed training plan with individual instruction. Grab some friends and accomplish something you never thought possible. Call to schedule an appointment.


Mud Runs and Obstacle Courses

What is it? The Tough Mudder is a challenging 9 mile foot race with 18 obstacles along the way. You need to be in good physical condition to complete this event. This is a local event held on April 9th and 10th. Click on photo for event website.

How can I do it? Participate in an 18 week training program designed specifically to prepare you for the 9 mile run and each of the 18 obstacles. The program includes:

  • 4 TuffCamp or CrossFit classes per week
  • 3 Foundation classes teaching the functional training methods of CrossFit and TuffCamp
  • Run Clinics
  • Weekly Run Schedule

What’s the cost? $750

  • 4 payments of $187.50 billed monthly from December to March
  • Breakdown: 4 classes /week for 18 weeks = 72 classes

About Greg Tymon

Master’s Degree in Human Performance • Certified CrossFit Coach • Certified USA Triathlon Coach • Certified CrossFit Running Coach • Certified USA Weightlifting Coach • Certified Run and Triathlon Coach for the Leukemia Society’s Team in Training program Greg is the owner of Advanced Cross Training, a multifaceted fitness business serving the Lehigh Valley, Poconos and surrounding areas.  Greg has been a strength and conditioning coach for the past 15 years at both the high school and college level and has a background and special training in injury prevention / rehabilitation.  Greg received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Human Performance from East Stroudsburg University.  While at ESU, Greg competed in the decathlon : winning several championships and breaking 2 school records.  For fun, Greg competes in triathlons, road races, trail races and enjoys all outdoor activities.  Greg has always employed functional strength training in his fitness business which made CrossFit a” no brainer” and welcomed addition.
